Aglio Olio

1 red onion, freshly sliced
1 white onion, freshly sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoon olive oil
Linguine or Spaghetti
Salt to taste

The above mentioned ingredients are what I've used today. You may change the amount of onions, garlic and pasta to suit your preference.

  1. Cook pasta till al dente; in salted water or you may also add few drops of oil, so that pasta will not stick together. Drain pasta well after it's cooked.
  2. Warm the olive oil in a saucepan, then add in all the freshly cut onions and garlic.
  3. Saute to your preference: with garlic practically raw, soft or turning golden.
  4. Mix the pasta into the pan and add salt to taste
And viola!

It's really easy to prepare and cook, the ingredients are easily available everywhere and I really enjoyed the whole process, especially the eating part!
